3D Printing enters the Victoria's Secret Runway Show

As 3D printing slowly becomes more mainstream in our day to day lives, its interesting to see the evolution of the once unattainable to the public technology. In 2013, Victoria's Scret teamed up with Bradley Rothenberg from Shapeways to produce Snow Queen and Snow Angel themed costumes for the show. The costume was made to fit model Lindsay Ellingson perfectly via a 3D scan of her figure. The 3D printed corset is encrusted with millions of Swarovski crystals. 3D printing was used to create the crown, wings with the geometric characteristics of the design's snowflake motif.
